Shule Ya Wajenzi (RBG)

Shule Ya Wajenzi is a year-long design/build construction life skills program for built environment changemakers and ambassadors based on the West Side of Chicago. Rooted in the spirits of Sankofa, Kujichagulia, and Fawohodie, the program connects participants to their individual and cultural roots with the intent to improve life outcomes, with a special focus on various construction-related service projects. Programming is delivered in a hybrid online/in-person model on Zoom and at The K Culture Creator Center in West Garfield Park.
